V-Ray - the
system rendering (rendering the image), developed by Chaos
Group (Bulgaria). V-Ray has proved popular in the architectural
rendering, widely used in film and on television, thanks to a good
correlation rate miscalculation of image quality and great
opportunities. V-Ray is fully built on the basis of the Monte Carlo
method (Quasi Monte Carlo - QMC, and its further implementation of the
firm - DMC).
V-Ray - a powerful visualization tool
that supports the Depth of Field
(depth of field), Motion Blur (effect of "smearing" in the movement),
Displacement (displacement map, with increasing detail of
three-dimensional objects). In addition, V-ray has its own sources of
illumination, a system of sun-sky for realistic lighting with natural
light, and the physical camera parameters, similar to a real photo and
video cameras. System Vray Proxy allows miscalculation extremely large
amounts of similar objects, consisting in total of tens of billions of
polygons. Built-in shaders provide the user with ample opportunity to
simulate virtually any material. V-Ray SDK allows you to program their
own shaders as well as to adapt the system for the solution of specific
problems. Ability to calculate the individual picture elements in the
form of channels, such as depth, diffuse color, alpha, reflection,
refraction, shadows, and others, provides greater freedom in
post-processing packages compositing and
editing.
